Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Law College, Hyderabad

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Law College, Hyderabad was established by Sri G.Venkat Swamy garu (former Union Cabinet Minister) in the year of 1991. The college is affiliated to the Osmania University & it got approval from the Bar Council of India, New Delhi.

Campus

The college is situated near RTC Kalyana Mandapam, Baghlingampally, Hyderabad. The campus of the college is well-linked with the road transportation facility. The college has a world-class infrastructure which comprises with the Academic Blocks & Students Blocks.

Facilities

The college offers the facility of well-maintained library with a good collection of books, periodicals, journals, cases, reports, projects, magazines related to the law. There are well-established & spacious classrooms with the facility of LCD Projector & audio-visual aids. The moot court hall is also available to improve the advocacy skill of the students. Other facilities offered by the college are computer laboratory, canteen, medical seminar & conference hall, sports & games, etc.

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Law College, Hyderabad runs undergraduate & postgraduate law courses in the field of law. The college offers three years Bachelor of Laws (LLB), five years integrated Bachelor of Laws (LLB) & two years Master of Laws (LLM) in Labour Law.

Law Courses:

  • LLB – 3 years
  • LLB – 5 years
  • LLM – 2 years

Admission

The admission into three years LLB, five years integrated LLB on the basis of TS LAWCET & directly under Management quota. The admission into LLM course on the basis of TS PGLCET. Students seek admission into the LLB (5 years), they have to qualify the 2-year Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) or equivalent. Those seeking admission into the LLB (3 years), they have to pass the Graduation degree (10+2+3 pattern) from a recognized University with any discipline. Students have to complete the three years & five years LLB degree from a recognized University to get admission into LLM course. Students have to obtain minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST category) in the qualifying examination.
