Ayurveda college Coimbatore, situated in the Manchester city of South India was established in 1978 at Panthanjalipuri, Mankarai and later shifted to Sulur in 2000. The college is affiliated to THE TAMILNADU DR.M.G.R.MEDICAL UNIVERSITY, CHENNAI & recognized by CENTRAL COUNCIL OF INDIAN MEDICINE[CCIM], NEW DELHI.

Initially, the college was started by the untiring efforts of P.V.Rama Warrier to spread the fame of this holistic science throughout the world. Now the college is synonymous with one of the best Ayurvedic colleges in the country with excellence in academic, clinical and research sectors.
